Volunteer
Our group participates in many projects in our community. Other groups also ask us for help. Volunteers are always needed and very welcome.
Examples are bird counts, invasive plant management, managing a table at an event, and so much more. Even if it is only an hour or two any help is appreciated.

For many years the Arrowsmith Naturalists have along with other groups been weeding out invasives and planting native plants at the Englishman River Estuary.
Recently, with the purchase of the former Englishman River Art Gallery at the western
end of Mariner Way in the San Pariel area, the Nature Trust has embarked on a new
restoration project which will return this site to its natural state. And, in support of this
project, we have shifted the location of much of our work to Mariner Way. Many
invasive plant species will need to be removed, soil amended and new, native plant
species reintroduced. Although the location has changed, we will still continue to meet
on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month but at the Mariner Way site.
If you can help out with any of this please contact:
