Join us as we endeavor to know, enjoy, and preserve our natural environment.  Our outings usually take us to nearby areas and at times further afield.

 

 

 Membership Fees

Single Membership $ 25.00*

Family Membership $ 35.00*

 

*If you would like a paper copy of  BC Nature Magazine sent to your address please add $5.00 to your membership fee. Otherwise you will receive a free e-edition to your email address.

 

 

Club Membership

 

If you are interested in joining the club, please print and complete the following two forms.

  1. CLUB MEMBERSHIP FORM
  2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (must be both read, and signed) Each person MUST fill out their own waiver, even for couples.
  3. Waiver is new as of May 31 2026 and must be remitted. Only needs to be filled out ONCE in your life. The three little lines yellowed must be initialed.

       These two completed forms can be mailed to:

OR bring the completed forms with your membership fee to one of our regular meetings. Meetings are held from September to June at Qualicum Breach Community Hall, 664  Memorial Ave.You can find more information about our meetings on the Meetings page.

For those wishing to pay memberships by eTransfer, you can send your fees to anatsmembers@gmail.com.   No password or security question needed, money goes directly into the account.  BUT, membership form and waiver are still needed to be mailed in or given to a member of the board.

 

New waiver info: May 31 2026

  • Once you sign one once it will be entered in the BC Nature membership site and it is good for the rest of your life; only needs to be done once!
  • Every individual must sign once, even couples, I need one from EACH person.
  • Note as each form is filled in there are three spots beside the yellow highlighted lines MUST also be initialled.

 

These are a one-time event file.  The memberships will need to be renewed each year with payment but not this Waiver.  It is a one-time thing.

 

 

 

 

 

Day Membership Fees For Field Trips

 

In the event that you have a guest visiting and wish to bring your guest(s) on an outing, please find attached the required Day Membership Forms. Print the forms to have ready for your guest to read and sign and then provide the completed forms with the $1.00 per person fee to the outing coordinator.

  1. DAY MEMBERSHIP FORM
  2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (must both be read, signed and a $1.00 fee paid)

Day members can only participate up to a maximum of two field trips per year. Please remember that both the annual and day membership forms must have the signed release of liability waiver either printed on the back of the membership form or be stapled to it.

 

Field Trip Leader’s Forms

 

Outings sign in sheet -Leaders download this sheet to record the members and non-members on the outing. Please return any of the filled out forms and money collected to the membership secretary.

 

Please remember that DAY membership forms must have the signed release of liability waiver either printed on the back of the membership form or be stapled to it.
